Communications Specialist

About the role

The Communications Specialist will support internal communications across Ingersoll Rand’s Process Flow Technologies EMEIA business. Working closely with business leaders, HR partners and subject‑matter experts, you will translate strategy and key initiatives into clear, engaging messages that help employees understand and act on priorities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with regional business priorities and growth objectives.
• Support team‑wide initiatives, organizational changes, business updates and key programs across the region.
• Create, edit and deliver written, visual and multimedia content for diverse employee audiences, including manufacturing and office staff.
• Draft leadership communications such as employee emails, manager briefings, presentations, talking points, FAQs and cascade materials.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication tactics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Generate creative ideas to boost engagement for various employee groups.

Required profile

• College or university degree in Communication, Public Relations or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in communications, public relations or internal communications.
• Experience supporting leader communications and employee engagement initiatives.
• Experience in a global or matrixed organization is preferred.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Canva for creating visual content.
