Data Analyst – Data Collection Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Data Collection Operations team in Prague. You will own the configuration, monitoring and quality‑assurance of Similarweb’s large‑scale data collection services that feed insights to thousands of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain configuration files that define which data is collected from web pages or APIs.
• Monitor data flow and quality using Grafana and related tools, ensuring compliance with business requirements.
• Leverage AI‑based tools to automate configuration auto‑healing and reduce alert fatigue.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve collection processes.
• Collaborate with product managers and data team leaders to enhance and maintain high‑quality data pipelines.
• Perform code reviews, contribute to monitoring system improvements, and answer data‑related queries.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Proficiency with Databricks, Spark, Airflow, Grafana or comparable platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience with SQL, PySpark or Python for complex data analysis.
• Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and AI tools is a plus.
• Ability to act as a trusted data partner, quickly identifying and resolving data issues.
