Development Specialist – Cardiovascular

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Development Specialist for its Cardiovascular Group to support the growth and adoption of its portfolio across Czechia. The role is remote‑based within Czechia and involves frequent travel to hospitals, labs and industry events.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical and scientific discussions with physicians and catheterisation laboratory teams to promote appropriate use of cardiovascular technologies.
• Provide on‑site procedural support, product demonstrations and troubleshooting during clinical cases.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals and distributor partners.
• Identify clinical needs and therapeutic gaps to expand portfolio utilisation.
• Deliver clinical education and product training to enhance customer competency.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and clinical teams to execute territory growth strategies.
• Gather market insights, competitive intelligence and customer feedback for internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Fluency in Czech and English.
• Experience providing clinical, technical or customer‑facing support in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to travel frequently throughout Czechia and a valid driving licence.
