DevOps Engineer – Cloud Automation

About the role

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to design, build and optimise modern infrastructure for our clients in banking, insurance, life‑sciences and automotive sectors. You will work with cloud, container and automation technologies to ensure scalable, reliable and high‑performance services.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and optimise Linux‑based infrastructure on Microsoft Azure, focusing on scalability, reliability and performance.
• Automate deployment, testing and release processes using CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab) and GitOps tools such as Argo CD.
• Implement and maintain container platforms (Kubernetes/OpenShift) and related networking, load‑balancing and proxy solutions.
• Manage the full lifecycle of application deployments, including version upgrades, monitoring and troubleshooting production issues.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate CI/CD workflows and support Java/.NET applications.

Required profile

• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent team collaboration and communication skills.
• Proactive, independent and detail‑oriented work style.
• Fluent in Czech or Slovak and good command of English for technical documentation.

Required skills

• Linux, Docker, Git and networking fundamentals.
• SQL and Redis.
• Microsoft Azure.
• Kubernetes / OpenShift.
• Apache, Nginx or other proxy/load‑balancer solutions.
• CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitLab) and GitOps with Argo CD.
• Scripting with Bash, Python or Perl.
