About the role
We are looking for a hands‑on DevOps Engineer – Platform to join our Platform team and help evolve the foundations of the IP Fabric product. The role sits at the intersection of software engineering, Linux, CI/CD, containers, quality, and developer experience, focusing on making the product more stable, elegant, performant and secure.
Key responsibilities
- Build and improve product‑platform components and tooling using Python and TypeScript.
- Help evolve the application from a monolithic structure toward cleaner modules or services.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of the next‑generation deployment model.
- Move the product from Debian package‑oriented deployment toward a container‑based approach.
- Build, improve, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines.
- Improve build and testing infrastructure and make local product development easier and more reliable.
- Work with Kubernetes and containerised workloads, troubleshooting issues across application, runtime, container, Linux, and CI/CD boundaries.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews and collaborate across the product organization.
Required profile
- Strong GNU/Linux fundamentals and troubleshooting skills.
- Hands‑on experience with containers and practical Kubernetes knowledge.
- Experience building, maintaining, or improving CI/CD pipelines.
- Software‑development experience in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Ability to independently own technical implementation and follow modern software‑engineering practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and ability to collaborate in a remote engineering team.
- EU citizenship or eligibility to work in the EU.
