DevOps Minded Engineer

About the role

We are creating a new R&D team that tackles cross‑cutting infrastructure challenges such as cloud governance, security, disaster recovery, operational readiness and cost visibility. This is not a classic DevOps position – we need a developer‑mindset engineer who builds, tests and maintains infrastructure as software.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse production infrastructure problems and deliver safe, automated changes.
• Develop and maintain Terraform/OpenTofu modules, cloud environments and account foundations.
• Collaborate with other R&D teams to turn solutions into reusable patterns, automation and documented practices.
• Participate in broader architecture decisions without being the sole owner of the entire stack.
• Share knowledge across repositories and teams, documenting decisions and best practices.

Required profile

• Mid‑level to senior infrastructure engineer with a strong developer mindset.
• Practical experience with at least two of AWS, Azure, GCP/Kubernetes, Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Solid understanding of Linux, IAM/RBAC, networking and infrastructure security.
• Fluent Czech and English at a conversational/working level (minimum B2).
