Director, Client Finance Optimization & Training

About the role

The Director, Client Finance Optimization & Training will lead global process‑improvement initiatives and build a best‑in‑class training capability for Sirva’s Client Finance organisation. Reporting to senior finance leadership, this role will simplify end‑to‑end processes, drive operational excellence, and ensure teams worldwide have the knowledge and tools to deliver consistent, high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and deliver process‑improvement projects across billing, revenue assurance and client‑specific activities.
• Standardise and simplify global finance workflows, reducing rework and hand‑offs.
• Define and embed global standards, SOPs and best‑practice frameworks, balancing consistency with regional nuances.
• Promote a continuous‑improvement mindset, championing automation, technology enablement and workflow optimisation.
• Develop and execute a global training and enablement strategy, covering onboarding, continuous learning and role‑specific development.
• Build learning pathways, competency frameworks and certification programmes to ensure consistent performance.
• Lead a small, distributed team of training coordinators and trainers, overseeing content creation and delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading finance‑process optimisation or transformation programmes at a global scale.
• Demonstrated ability to design and roll out enterprise‑wide training programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, working with finance, IT and transformation teams.
• Strategic thinker with a data‑driven approach to prioritising initiatives.
