Director of Security Assurance & Trust

About the role

The Director of Security Assurance & Trust will act as the strategic bridge between Collibra’s Field Security team, sales, product, engineering and customers, ensuring that security initiatives deliver business value and strengthen customer trust.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to sales, combining deep cybersecurity expertise with external engagement of customers, prospects and regulators.
• Represent Collibra publicly, articulating the company’s security posture, roadmap and philosophy.
• Collaborate with internal product and functional leaders to translate customer requirements and regulations into clear security objectives.
• Analyze customer needs from technical and security perspectives to allocate Field Security resources effectively.
• Develop and manage complex project plans, specifications and schedules for critical security outcomes.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience in information security, field security or a customer‑facing technical leadership role.
• Proven track record consulting senior leadership and enterprise customers on business‑critical security concerns.
• Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, FedRAMP, EU AI Act and DORA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; visa sponsorship not available.
