Drug Safety Associate – Arabic Language

About the role

The Drug Safety Associate with Arabic will translate and enter individual case safety reports (ICSR) from Arabic into English, following global procedures and regional submission requirements. The role supports the end‑to‑end case intake workflow, ensuring accurate data capture and timely submission into the client’s pharmacovigilance system.

Key responsibilities

• Translate case information from Arabic to English, preserving medical and country‑specific context.
• Enter relevant data into the client’s safety platform and submit completed ICSR cases.
• Perform quality reviews and internal case quality control as required.
• Contact reporters in Arabic to obtain follow‑up information when needed.
• Adhere to deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
• Escalate issues outside the normal scope and seek advice from the multicultural team.

Required profile

• Native or fluent Arabic speaker with strong written English skills.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Adaptable to learn new processes, concepts and tools.
• Strong oral and written communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Arabic‑English translation within a medical context.
• Data‑entry accuracy and familiarity with case management systems.
