Financial Controller

About the role

Cencora is seeking a Financial Controller to join its Czech operations. You will work closely with the Finance Director and the existing Financial Controller, handling internal and group reporting while developing your own responsibilities in a dynamic, health‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare independent internal financial and operational controlling reports.
• Report financial and operational results to the US parent company.
• Participate in regular result reviews with divisional management.
• Support monthly closing activities together with the Financial Controller.
• Prepare data for accrual items and assist the accounting department during month‑end, audits, and reconciliations.
• Conduct performance analyses and contribute to annual and long‑term planning.
• Utilise English in all communications and help implement a new reporting system.

Required profile

• University degree in economics, finance, accounting, auditing or a related field.
• Strong orientation in finance; experience in operational controlling is a plus.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently.
• Fluent English (advanced) and native‑level Czech.
• Desire for a long‑term employment relationship.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
