Powering Europe’s energy transition in real time: join our core engineering team shaping the M7 XBID platform, the mission‑critical system enabling pan‑European cross‑zonal intraday power trading. In this Full Stack Developer role, you will bridge back‑end and front‑end architectures to build, evolve, and scale a high‑performance trading engine handling live operations across the continent.

Key responsibilities

• Take end‑to‑end ownership of new features from initial design and technical proof of concept to production rollout.
• Build resilient, high‑throughput back‑end microservices using Java 17+ or Kotlin on top of the Spring ecosystem.
• Craft responsive, reliable, and intuitive user interfaces using modern web standards and React.
• Implement low‑latency REST APIs, WebSocket streaming, and event‑driven communication protocols across distributed components.
• Design efficient relational data models in PostgreSQL, optimise persistence layers, and ensure smooth data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot intricate issues across distributed environments while safeguarding system reliability, performance, and security.
• Contribute actively to technical discussions, architectural roadmaps, code reviews, and continuous delivery improvements.

Required profile

• Solid track record in full‑stack software development spanning enterprise back‑end architectures and modern web front ends.
• Strong programming proficiency in Java 17+ and/or Kotlin, complemented by practical experience with Spring and Hibernate.
• Hands‑on familiarity with modern JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and client‑side component libraries, ideally React.
• Solid understanding of relational database design, SQL optimisation (ideally PostgreSQL), and distributed messaging patterns.
• Rigorous approach to clean code, testing, Git workflows, and agile collaboration in multidisciplinary engineering squads.
• Strong analytical reasoning, self‑reliance in technical problem‑solving, and continuous appetite for mastering emerging technologies.
