Full‑Stack Software Engineer – TypeScript/Node.js

About the role

Storyous is looking for a full‑stack Software Engineer to work on mission‑critical micro‑services that power its POS ecosystem. You will focus on TypeScript, Node.js, modern front‑end frameworks and NoSQL databases while collaborating with cross‑technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain APIs, billing, and integration services.
• Refactor legacy code, deprecate outdated components and improve system observability.
• Write clean, secure, well‑tested code and build tools that scale across the business.
• Participate in full life‑cycle activities: code reviews, source‑control management, CI/CD pipelines, testing and release.
• Collaborate effectively with team members and non‑technical stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional full‑stack development experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and Node.js.
• Proven experience designing and consuming REST APIs, handling errors and caching.
• Hands‑on experience with NoSQL (MongoDB) and relational databases (MariaDB).
• Basic knowledge of cloud/infrastructure tools such as Kubernetes, Docker, AWS or Heroku.
• Strong habit of writing unit and integration tests and using observability, logging and metrics tools.
• Comfortable with Git workflows, branching strategies and CI/CD (GitHub Actions).
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor).
• Fluent written and spoken English and ability to work independently on medium‑sized features.
