HR Generalist

About the role

The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with business goals and local requirements. This position ensures a compliant, inclusive workplace while supporting recruitment, employee relations, and HR process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, manage grievances, and promote a positive work environment in line with local labor laws.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to onboarding, ensuring a professional candidate experience.
• Coordinate with payroll teams to provide accurate inputs and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Identify and implement improvements across HR processes, including HRIS, payroll, compensation, and benefits.
• Maintain regional benefits inventory, analyze harmonisation opportunities, and propose enhancements.
• Partner with HRIS teams to ensure data integrity and streamline processes.
• Support all stages of the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract administration, and off‑boarding.
• Ensure timely processing of HR documentation such as contracts, benefits enrollment, and performance reviews.
• Administer e‑learning curricula for new hires and manage updates.
• Collaborate globally with HR colleagues to maintain consistency in practices and policies.
• Apply a lean mindset to continuously improve HR efficiency and employee experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience in employee relations management.
• Hands‑on experience in talent acquisition and full‑cycle recruitment.
• Background managing a comprehensive HR agenda (administration, recruitment, payroll, benefits).
• Strong knowledge of regional labor laws and collective agreements.
• Ability to work effectively with works councils and cross‑functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on process optimisation.

Required skills

• HRIS (Human Resources Information System) proficiency.
