HR Generalist

About the role

Join IDC's HR team in Prague as a hands‑on HR Generalist. You will partner with business leaders across departments, supporting the full employee lifecycle from workforce planning to off‑boarding, while ensuring compliance with Czech labour law.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits and development.
• Develop and implement HR initiatives aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding, documentation, HR‑system administration and off‑boarding processes.
• Collaborate with an HR coordinator on day‑to‑day administration and Czech labour‑law compliance.
• Monitor HR risks, propose mitigation strategies and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Fluent in Czech and English with professional communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years experience as an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of Czech labour legislation.
• Strong background in compensation and benefits.
• Self‑starter, fast learner and comfortable with a hybrid work model (minimum three days onsite).

Required skills

• Advanced MS 365 proficiency.
• Experience with HR systems and databases.
