Import/Export Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Trade Compliance professional to manage import and export formalities across Europe, with a primary focus on the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The specialist will join the Global Trade function within our Legal Department and work closely with logistics, procurement, sales, finance and legal teams to ensure compliant international transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee import/export compliance policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to Czech and EU regulations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and advise internal teams on compliance requirements.
• Correspond confidently with customs authorities and handle EU documents such as ATR, EUR 1, and CMR.
• Conduct internal audits, risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
• Train employees on trade compliance regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation to meet regulatory standards.
• Investigate potential violations and manage voluntary disclosures when needed.
• Monitor CBAM compliance and support other trade compliance initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in trade compliance.
• Fluent Czech language skills.
• Subject‑matter expertise in Czech import/export matters.
• Familiarity with EU export control and dual‑use regulations.
• Strong project management, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
