Instructional Designer/Developer

About the role

The Learning & Development Designer/Developer will lead the end‑to‑end creation of learning products for a global capability centre. Reporting to the Production Team Leader, you will combine instructional design expertise with hands‑on development to deliver high‑quality, scalable learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop learning solutions across digital, virtual, blended and performance‑support modalities.
• Translate business requirements and learning blueprints into detailed instructional designs and finished assets.
• Build learning content using approved authoring tools, templates and platforms, ensuring consistency, reusability and accessibility.
• Create assessments, knowledge checks and measurement approaches aligned to learning objectives.
• Partner with project managers, SMEs, localization leads and reviewers to scope work, manage timelines and ensure content accuracy.
• Apply adult‑learning principles, learning science and organisational standards to produce engaging, inclusive experiences.
• Continuously improve quality through feedback, quality checks and process optimisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technology, Business or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in learning design and/or development, with proven ability to perform both disciplines.
• Strong understanding of instructional design methodologies, adult‑learning principles and learning experience design.
• Ability to thrive in high‑volume, production‑oriented environments with shifting priorities.
