IT Operations Specialist – Prague

About the role

We are looking for an IT Operations Specialist to be the first line of support for our colleagues across Vilgain in Prague. You will own device reliability, keep our network infrastructure running smoothly, and proactively solve issues before they become emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Install and set up PCs, laptops, projectors and streaming devices across all Vilgain locations.
• Maintain warehouse and retail hardware such as printers, scanners and other endpoints to ensure daily operational reliability.
• Administer Windows, Linux and Android systems, including updates and configuration.
• Configure and maintain VoIP phone systems for the organisation.
• Produce clear technical documentation and user manuals, and coordinate with hardware and software vendors.
• Provide on‑site support to colleagues in Prague offices and stores as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in IT support or IT operations.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, Android, MS Office and G Suite.
• Solid understanding of networking configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience with hardware diagnostics and field‑level repair.
• Fluent Czech for daily communication and strong English for technical documentation.
• Resilient, flexible and able to prioritize in a fast‑moving environment, including occasional out‑of‑hours support.
