IT Support Engineer

About the role

Ataccama is looking for an IT Support Engineer who will be the first point of contact for employees ranging from engineers to C‑level executives. The role combines technical troubleshooting with clear, friendly communication to keep the company's IT environment running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the go‑to person for IT help in person, via Slack, and through the ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues across a mixed Windows and macOS environment.
• Troubleshoot software problems and support core SaaS tools such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Entra ID, and device‑management solutions.
• Administer and support Jamf, Microsoft Intune, and Google Workspace platforms.
• Manage the employee IT lifecycle, including onboarding, off‑boarding, access provisioning, and device handovers.
• Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory and software licenses.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in IT or technical support.
• Strong communication skills and a service‑oriented mindset.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to users of all levels, from new hires to executives.
• Genuine enjoyment of helping non‑technical users.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Understanding of security best practices in IT.

Required skills

• Administration of Jamf.
• Administration of Microsoft Intune.
• Administration of Google Workspace.
• Experience with Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID and MDM/device‑management solutions.
• Passion for automating processes using AI and a high‑level understanding of AI concepts.
