Junior Embedded Software Developer

About the role

Join NXP's ROM team in Brno (or Roznov) to develop the first code that runs on a microcontroller, shaping the foundation of next‑generation vehicles, smart homes and industrial IoT solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop ROM firmware in early development stages, even before silicon is available.
• Perform verification and debugging in pre‑silicon environments to achieve full test coverage.
• Strengthen critical code parts to ensure security and resilience against physical or logical threats.
• Collaborate with hardware, validation and security teams to guarantee seamless power‑on to production flow.

Required profile

• Practical experience with embedded programming in C and a strong interest in low‑level hardware.
• Solid understanding of microcontroller architecture fundamentals.
• Analytical mindset with reliable debugging skills for embedded targets.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
