Key Account Manager – Acute Care Diagnostics (Czech Republic)

About the role

The Key Account Manager for Acute Care Diagnostics will act as the primary liaison between Werfen, customers, and channel partners in the western region of Czechia (Bohemia). The role focuses on developing and executing sales strategies to grow business, manage key accounts, and support tender processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify leads, building a sustainable sales pipeline to exceed sales targets.
• Visit strategic accounts and prospects at least 50% of the time, providing consultative sales support.
• Develop value‑based selling strategies using the Value Prompter and customize product solutions for customer needs.
• Coordinate tender activities, prepare technical specifications, and conduct profitability analysis in CRM.
• Maintain and update CRM with accurate commercial opportunity data.
• Collaborate with Marketing to create go‑to‑market strategies and with internal teams to support the overall commercial strategy.
• Prepare regular progress reports and forecasts using key account metrics.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine or Pharmacy.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and application roles within IVD or related diagnostics business lines.
• Proven commercial and key‑account management skills.
• Fluent in English and Czech.
