Kitchen Assistant (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Kitchen Assistant to join the Food Service Department of Hořovice Hospital. You will help ensure that patients, staff, and visitors receive nutritious meals in a safe and hygienic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation according to the chef’s instructions.
• Serve meals to patients and hospital staff.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, equipment, and work surfaces.
• Support inventory checks and basic stock handling.

Required profile

• Apprenticeship in a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
• Previous experience in a kitchen or food‑service setting is advantageous.
• Physical fitness and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food service hygiene regulations.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts (morning to early evening).
