Lead Specialist - Internal Audit

About the role

The Lead Specialist - Internal Audit is responsible for managing the full audit cycle, ensuring operational effectiveness, financial reliability, and regulatory compliance. This role provides independent advice and supports risk mitigation across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct reviews of functional areas to assess accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls.
• Develop and execute the yearly audit plan based on the organization’s risk profile.
• Prepare audit reports, documentation, and client response memoranda in English.
• Identify loopholes, recommend risk‑aversion and cost‑saving measures, and ensure implementation of audit policies.
• Oversee Internal Auditors in day‑to‑day activities and support the Financial Control team as needed.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of corporate audit experience.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, CFE, or DipIFR are advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in Audit, Accounting, or a related field.
• Flexibility to travel for audit assignments.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience conducting financial and operational audits.
• Risk assessment and control evaluation.
• Preparation and presentation of audit reports in English.
