Manager Agentic AI

About the role

Esko is building a shared Agentic AI platform that enables product teams to create reliable AI‑powered workflows without reinventing core foundations. As the Manager of Agentic AI you will lead a hands‑on engineering team, shape the platform’s technical direction and own key production areas.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and grow the Agentic AI engineering team, setting clear goals and managing performance.
• Design, implement and operate substantial components of the shared AI platform, ensuring reliability, security and observability.
• Define platform architecture, interfaces and quality standards in collaboration with architecture and cloud teams.
• Translate recurring product needs into reusable platform capabilities while avoiding product‑specific forks.
• Partner with product engineering teams to drive adoption of the platform and move agentic capabilities from prototype to production.

Required profile

• Strong production software engineering experience in Python, TypeScript, Java or similar languages.
• Proven line‑management experience, including coaching, performance feedback and technical ownership.
• Experience building platforms, APIs or shared services used by multiple teams.
• Hands‑on experience with production AI systems that use large language models and agentic workflows.
• Ability to balance platform coherence with domain‑specific differences and make clear trade‑offs.
