Material Management Coordinator

About the role

KONE is looking for a proactive, customer-oriented professional to act as Material Management Coordinator in Usti nad Labem. The role ensures a smooth flow of materials across the supply chain and supports production, logistics and customer deliveries, working closely with suppliers, purchasing, planning, production and logistics teams. It is set in a dynamic international environment and contributes to the digitalisation and continuous improvement of supply chain processes.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure timely availability of materials for production and customer orders
• Manage purchase orders and monitor supplier deliveries
• Identify and resolve material shortages, delays and other supply chain risks
• Work with suppliers and internal stakeholders on delivery, quality and service targets
• Monitor and optimise stock levels, balancing availability with efficient use of working capital
• Prepare forecasts, reports and analyses supporting planning and decision-making
• Maintain accurate data across processes using ERP and production systems
• Use data analysis to spot trends and improvement opportunities, and support digitalisation and automation initiatives
• Contribute to performance indicators for material availability, supplier performance and inventory control

Required profile

• Experience in supply chain, materials management, planning, purchasing, logistics or production environments
• Proactive, customer-focused and results-driven approach
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-changing environment and prioritise tasks
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Active knowledge of English, spoken and written

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, advanced functions, reporting and data analysis)
• Power BI or other business intelligence tools
• Use of AI tools and digital technologies for automation and data analysis
• ERP experience, ideally SAP; MES or other manufacturing systems is an advantage
