Material Planner

About the role

Bagira Systems is looking for a Material Planner to own material availability for production. You will be the central point that ensures the right parts are ordered, approved and stocked so that manufacturing runs without interruption.

Key responsibilities

• Run MRP in SAP Business One on a weekly (or ad‑hoc) basis and analyse exception messages.
• Validate MRP output against engineering changes, supplier constraints and demand signals.
• Create accurate purchase requests based on validated MRP recommendations, respecting MOQs, order multiples and price breaks.
• Track purchase requests through to purchase order, ensuring no gaps between planning and procurement.
• Act as the approval gate for internal purchase requests, checking data, quantity, justification and required dates.
• Maintain and update the long‑lead‑item list and make proactive buy‑to‑stock decisions.
• Maintain MRP scenario settings and document standard run procedures.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate between development, production and procurement teams.
• Good understanding of supply‑chain processes and material availability challenges.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SAP Business One (MRP module).
