Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our product development team. You will be responsible for defining and improving mechanical components, from early requirement analysis to final production documentation, ensuring compliance with technical and customer specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse battery tray design requirements, including components, parts and accessories.
• Create 2D and 3D CAD models and detailed production drawings.
• Select materials and components based on technical requirements, cost and manufacturing processes.
• Design technical solutions tailored to customer needs and participate in design reviews.
• Conduct FMEA analyses and propose corrective actions.
• Optimise designs for cost efficiency and producibility (manufacturing, assembly, etc.).
• Use customer‑order tools and processes and support the preparation of technical documentation.

Required profile

• University or secondary technical education in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in product construction and designing complex assemblies from multiple materials.
• Very good knowledge of Czech and English; French is a plus.
• Strong understanding of mechanics, materials engineering and industrial processes.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (CREO, SolidWorks, etc.).
• Experience in 3D modelling.
• FMEA analysis.
