Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our experienced team of designers and specialists developing innovative railway products. You will be responsible for creating design solutions, documentation, and supporting prototype testing.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop new products and components according to technical specifications.
• Prepare complete drawing and technical documentation for new devices and assemblies.
• Perform design changes, update existing documentation and ensure its accuracy in the system.
• Conduct technical calculations and analyses of proposed solutions.
• Select appropriate materials, components and purchased parts.
• Collaborate with development during assembly, testing and verification of prototypes.

Required profile

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in design or development of technical products.
• Advanced proficiency in English and Czech.
• Experience with CAD systems such as Solid Edge or SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
