Mechanical Engineer – Creo 3D Modeling & PDM

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our elevator component team. The role focuses on mechanical design, 3D modelling and product data management (PDM) to support the development and manufacturing of elevator parts.

Key responsibilities

• Execute change‑management duties and minor projects within your component area.
• Coordinate R&D activities with manufacturing personnel.
• Participate actively in team development, innovation and agile processes.
• Design and implement components for the agile team’s portfolio.
• Drive new design and change‑request initiatives across the global organization.
• Collaborate with Elevator Cars, Mechanics and Doors tribes and with customer teams.
• Ensure quality, safety and cost‑competitiveness of elevator products.
• Create and maintain PDM product structures and configurations.

Required profile

• Fluent communication in English.
• Fluent communication in Czech (required for some positions).

Required skills

• Mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency with Creo 3D modelling.
• Experience with PDM structures.
• Knowledge of manufacturing mechanical components.
• Simulation skills such as FEM, tolerance stack analysis, and VR/AR/XR.
