Mechanical Engineer - Process Engineer, Rakona Plant

About the role

P&G Rakona Plant in Rakovník is looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Process Engineer) to join its manufacturing team and optimise production processes for its brands. The role covers both the packing line and the making department, and starts with a one-year Junior Manager Programme focused on innovation, maintenance and optimisation of production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Packing: identify performance losses, report them, and contribute to projects that meet the line's safety, quality and productivity targets, including installation and startup of new equipment and maintenance management tools.
• Making: support continuous improvement of products made from R&D recipes, and help craft learning programmes for operators and team leaders while simplifying and standardising work.
• Redesign and develop mechanical components and systems, and monitor existing equipment to optimise performance and maintenance needs.
• Plan and coordinate projects with other team members on time, within budget and with attention to safety and quality.

Required profile

• Master's degree, ideally in a mechanical field such as project and process management, mathematical and physical modelling, machine manufacturing, robotics and automation design, production line engineering or a related technical field.
• Ability to communicate in English; minimum basic knowledge of Czech or Slovak.
• Leadership, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present results and departmental achievements.
• Proactive, flexible, eager to learn and with good communication skills.
• Previous experience is an advantage, but the position is also open to fresh graduates.
