Mechanical Engineer (Process Engineer) - Rakona Plant

About the role

P&G Rakona Plant is looking for a Mechanical Engineer (Process Engineer) to join its manufacturing team in Rakovník, working on production systems for brands such as Ariel, Pampers, Gillette, Pantene, Always, Lenor and Oral-B. The role covers both the packing line and the making department, with a focus on reliability, quality and safety of equipment and processes. It is an entry-level position, part of a 1-year Junior Manager Program focused on innovation, maintenance and optimization of production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Packing: identify performance losses, report them and highlight key projects that help meet the line's performance targets, including installation and startup of new equipment and systematization of maintenance tools
• Making: support continuous improvement, craft learning programs for operators and team leaders, and help simplify and standardize work
• Redesign and develop mechanical components and systems, and monitor existing equipment to optimize performance and maintenance needs
• Plan and coordinate projects with other team members, keeping them on time, within budget and safe and quality-compliant

Required profile

• Master's degree, ideally in a mechanical field such as project and process management, mathematical and physical modeling, machine manufacturing, robotics and automation design, production line engineering or a related technical field
• Ability to communicate in English and basic knowledge of Czech or Slovak
• Leadership, technical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to present results
• Proactive, flexible, eager to learn and with good communication skills
• Previous experience is an advantage; fresh graduates are also welcome
