Mechanical Structures Specialist – Global Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Structures Specialist to join our global engineering organization. The role is closely linked to our Brno team but welcomes talent from other locations who thrive in a collaborative, international environment. You will drive innovation, standardisation, and continuous improvement for high‑voltage product support structures.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with structural engineering teams worldwide to define unified design methodologies and best practices.
• Partner with R&D to design, test, and enhance support structures for high‑voltage products.
• Identify and lead process‑improvement initiatives that boost efficiency, quality, and consistency.
• Develop engineering guidelines, templates, and standards for global knowledge sharing.
• Support the creation and adoption of engineering tools, automation solutions, and Lean‑based workflow optimisations.
• Define requirements for new structural components and manage approval and compliance processes.
• Act as a liaison between R&D, engineering, production, and installation teams to ensure successful implementation of changes.
• Lead the global Structural Expert Community, fostering collaboration and expertise exchange.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in mechanical structures engineering or a related technical field.
• Proven technical expertise and deep understanding of structural engineering principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tekla.
• Experience using STAAD.
• Knowledge of Ansys.
