Mobile Software Engineer (Android)

About the role

Storyous is looking for a Mobile Software Engineer to join its product team and help shape the future of its restaurant‑focused platform. You will primarily develop Android applications written in Kotlin, working closely with product managers, designers and other engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android mobile apps used in busy restaurant environments.
• Contribute to end‑to‑end feature development, including backend services when needed.
• Write clean, secure, well‑tested code and perform refactoring or deprecation work.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate APIs, tools and services.
• Participate in code reviews, source control, build processes, testing and release cycles.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience building and shipping Android applications.
• Strong understanding of modern Android architecture (MVVM or MVI) and Jetpack libraries.
• Ability to work across the stack and contribute to backend services.
• Proactive, collaborative attitude and commitment to product quality.
