Operating Room Attendant (Full-time)

About the role

The Operating Room Attendant supports surgical teams in the Central Operating Rooms of Hořovice Hospital. You will work in a modern, state‑of‑the‑art environment, preparing the theatre for procedures and ensuring a safe, clean setting for patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room before each surgery, including set‑up of equipment and supplies.
• Assist with patient handling and transport within the surgical suite.
• Provide professional assistance to surgeons, nurses and other medical personnel during procedures.
• Maintain hygiene standards by cleaning, disinfecting surfaces and handling materials according to safety regulations.

Required profile

• Professional qualification to practice as an orderly under Section 42, or willingness to obtain it.
• Good health and clean criminal record.
• Friendly, accommodating attitude toward patients and colleagues.
• Previous experience in a central operating room is a plus.
