Operational Purchasing Specialist

About the role

ABB Service in Brno is looking for a communicative and organised operational purchasing specialist who will handle the day-to-day procurement of components for its projects. The position reports to the Procurement & SCM Manager and suits candidates who want to develop, including graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Purchase materials and services and handle purchase orders
• Handle requests for tenders and tender procedures
• Work actively with other departments
• Arrange logistics for the delivery of materials

Required profile

• Secondary or higher education in economics or engineering
• Fluent English
• Experience in purchasing or logistics is an advantage
• Knowledge of technical documentation is an advantage

Required skills

• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
• Knowledge of purchasing and logistics processes and systems is an advantage
• Good communication, negotiation and organisational skills
• Category B driving licence
