Payroll Specialist

About the role

As a Payroll Specialist you will coordinate end‑to‑end payroll processes for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, ensuring accurate, timely payments in line with local laws and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Secure accurate and compliant payroll execution in collaboration with an external payroll provider.
• Manage employee hires, exits, staff changes and maintain payroll and employee files.
• Monitor time‑attendance data, ensure correct recording of absences and overtime.
• Deliver basic payroll trainings to key stakeholders.
• Maintain compliance with external authorities and act as point of contact.
• Prepare internal and external payroll reports and manage employee benefits related to payroll.
• Support payroll projects directed by the Payroll Manager.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of Czech and Slovak labour and payroll legislation.
• Proven payroll experience, preferably in retail.
• Fluent Czech and strong English communication skills.
• Strong analytical, numerical abilities and attention to detail.

Required skills

• SAP payroll system.
• SuccessFactors.
• Microsoft Excel.
