About the role
In Prague, we are actively seeking a professional to strengthen our People & Culture team. We’re looking for someone with HR Generalist experience who is happy to start in this role and sees it as an opportunity to gradually grow towards an HR Business Partner position.
Key responsibilities
- Manage employee data in the HRIS and prepare HR documents, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with Czech employment law.
- Support managers and employees throughout the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation, performance reviews, promotions, internal moves, off‑boarding, and exit interviews.
- Review employee feedback, engagement results, and HR data to identify common issues and work with managers on practical solutions.
- Support People initiatives and collaborate with other HR teams to implement them.
- Help organize local employee events and engagement activities, handling logistics, communication, and coordination with external suppliers.
- Share local and business insights to improve HR processes, manager support, and the employee experience.
Required profile
- 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of the Czech Labor Code; knowledge of the Slovak labor code is an advantage.
- High level of digital literacy and confidence in using HR tools and systems.
- Strong communication skills and a can‑do attitude.
- Willingness to contribute to open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Enjoy helping others and supporting colleagues in achieving their goals.
- Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and spoken Czech and English.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in a corporate environment is an advantage.
- Willingness to work mostly from the office in Palmovka, with occasional home‑office.
