PLM Engineer

About the role

Join Lear’s fast‑growing Engineering Development Center in Pilsen as a PLM Engineer. You will support the full lifecycle of automotive product data, ensuring accurate documentation, change management, and release packages within PLM systems for European OEM customers.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to create and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and product specifications.
• Create, maintain, and modify Bills of Materials (BOM) in line with engineering requirements.
• Analyze engineering changes and assess impact on products, ERP systems, and related documentation.
• Support the Engineering Change Management process, including change requests, approvals, and coordination with internal teams and suppliers.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across PLM and ERP systems.
• Provide assistance to the Engineering department in managing plant systems and related tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in engineering documentation, PLM, or change management within an automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with automotive systems and tools.
