Power Systems Engineer

About the role

At ABB you will work as a Power Systems Engineer on a variety of projects for global clients, developing technical solutions in a progressive electrical consultancy environment. The role combines hands‑on engineering with client interaction and offers a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical input and leadership on complex power engineering projects.
• Translate client requirements into practical engineering solutions and ensure delivery within quality, time and budget constraints.
• Perform power system studies such as load flow, short‑circuit, protection coordination, arc‑flash, power quality, harmonics and earthing assessments.
• Conduct grid‑connection and renewable‑energy integration analyses, including stability, compliance and reliability assessments.
• Prepare detailed technical and non‑technical reports and present recommendations to clients.
• Mentor junior engineers and deliver online training where required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in power system engineering.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• Strong communication skills for client meetings and reporting.
