Production Line Supervisor – MV Switchgear Assembly

About the role

ABB is seeking a Production Line Supervisor to lead the final assembly of medium‑voltage switchgear. You will manage a team on‑site, ensuring efficient production while adhering to quality, safety and schedule requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the final assembly team, allocate tasks, tools and materials.
• Perform quality checks, final inspections and ensure compliance with ABB standards.
• Monitor occupational health and safety regulations and workplace rules.
• Manage team working hours, maintain records in databases and SAP, and operate within a single‑shift schedule.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing role.
• Vocational or secondary technical education in electrical engineering (advantageous).
• Experience leading and managing a team (advantageous).
• Strong sense of responsibility, excellent communication, stress resilience and flexible working hours.

Required skills

• Good user knowledge of MS Excel.
• Good user knowledge of MS Word.
• Knowledge of SAP (advantageous).
