Professional Education & Development Specialist – Optometrist (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This fixed‑term position focuses on designing and delivering educational programmes for eye‑care professionals across the Czech Republic. The specialist will promote Alcon’s Education Academy platform, support congress activities, and strengthen relationships with key opinion leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, plan and execute HCP engagement and training programmes to increase market influence.
• Promote digital learning adoption through the Alcon Education Academy across CSEE and EE clusters.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with eye‑care practitioners, advocates and key accounts.
• Lead educational support for Alcon‑owned and third‑party congresses.
• Manage the annual education strategy, training calendar and regional training budget.
• Oversee training on Vision Care portfolio products such as Dry Eye & Ocular Health, Contact Lens, and Contact Lens Care.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, regulatory and governance standards.

Required profile

• Mandatory degree in Optometry; additional degrees are a plus.
• Fluent in Czech and English; Slovakian is advantageous.
• Willingness to spend ~70% of time in the field.
