Project Manager – International Engineering Projects

About the role

We’re looking for a Project Manager who likes having things under control but also enjoys working with people, solving problems, and keeping projects moving forward even when things don’t go exactly as planned. In this role you will take care of international engineering projects from kickoff to handover, working closely with internal teams, partners, and customers. You’ll have real responsibility, room to make decisions, and the support to do your job properly.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate and lead project teams, subcontractors and external partners.
• Set up clear plans for time, budget, scope and execution.
• Keep a close eye on costs, timelines and resources.
• Spot risks early and manage changes before they cause trouble.
• Be the main point of contact for customers and key stakeholders.
• Ensure contractual, quality, safety and environmental requirements are met.
• Prepare clear project updates and reviews.
• Capture lessons learned and help improve how projects are delivered.
• Support and guide team members in an international working environment.

Required profile

• Technical background in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering (university degree or relevant hands‑on experience).
• At least 3 years of experience in project management.
• Structured, proactive way of working.
• Confidence in handling budget, priorities and deadlines.
• Solid understanding of commercial topics (costs, margin, changes).
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teams.
• Comfort working independently and making decisions.
• Fluent English (other languages a bonus).
• Experience from the food industry is a strong advantage.
• Project management certification is a nice plus, not a must.
• Enjoy ownership and responsibility without unnecessary drama.
