Project Manager – Multinational Design Team

About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its multinational Design Team. You will be responsible for planning, executing, controlling, and delivering customer projects from order receipt through final acceptance, acting as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead execution of assigned projects while meeting schedule, margin, and quality objectives.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder expectations across the project lifecycle.
• Forecast and report resource requirements and financial performance.
• Apply advanced project‑management principles, tools, and scheduling techniques.
• Administer subcontractors and suppliers, handling both labor‑based and fixed‑price deliverables.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high satisfaction.
• Prepare, negotiate, and manage change orders and contract variations.
• Maintain complete project documentation in line with company standards.
• Coach less‑experienced engineers and support continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of proven project‑management experience delivering projects for external customers.
• Fluency in English, German, and French.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
