PtP Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a PtP Accountant to join our finance team in Prague. You will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end accounts‑payable process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process invoices and credit notes, matching them with purchase orders and resolving discrepancies.
• Post invoices into the accounting system daily, coding them to the correct GL accounts and cost centres.
• Prepare payments, perform month‑end activities and generate related reports.
• Analyze vendor accounts, reconcile statements and address negative balances.
• Communicate with vendors and internal clients to resolve account issues.
• Participate in process improvement and ad‑hoc projects.

Required profile

• Experience in accounts‑payable or customer service.
• Strong command of English; German is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP (advantage).
• Basic Excel skills.
