QP-QA Manager

About the role

Boehringer Ingelheim is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead the quality system and ensure compliance of pharmaceutical distribution with Czech and EU legislation and GDP requirements. As the Qualified Person for pharmaceutical distribution, you will act as a key partner to senior management on quality, compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and develop the quality management system in line with law No. 378/2007, EU regulations and Good Distribution Practice (GDP).
• Authorize release of medicinal products for sale in the Czech Republic.
• Manage product complaints, market withdrawals, deviations and CAPA processes.
• Prepare and coordinate internal audits, regulatory inspections and communicate with authorities.
• Collaborate across functions to ensure continuity of the distribution chain and perform LPCO and QCM duties.

Required profile

• University degree in pharmacy, life sciences, medicine, veterinary, chemistry or biology as defined by law No. 378/2007.
• Proven experience in pharmaceutical distribution, GDP and quality management systems.
• Hands‑on experience with complaints handling, product recalls, deviations, CAPA and audit activities.
• In‑depth knowledge of Czech and European legislation, GDP and GxP principles.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, independence, decision‑making ability and high integrity.
• Advanced English language skills and a valid driver’s licence (category B).
