Quality Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an independent and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team in Brno. You will act as a key partner for our automotive customers, ensuring product quality throughout the development and production lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and manage customer‑specific requirements.
• Handle complaints using the 8D methodology and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Prepare and maintain PPAP, VDA 2, PFMEA and IMDS documentation.
• Manage customer portals, scorecards and regulatory declarations.
• Analyse non‑conformities, coordinate corrective actions and report quality KPIs.
• Support internal, external and customer audits.
• Co‑operate with Production, R&D, Project Management and Logistics during new and modified product launches.
• Participate in production audits, quality incidents and product launches on site.

Required profile

• Secondary or university education in a technical field.
• Previous quality experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Good written and spoken English (minimum B1 level).
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Ability to communicate with customers, analyse problems and coordinate resolutions.
• Independent, responsible, well‑organised with strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience is a plus.
