Quality & Safety Specialist

About the role

KONE, a global innovator and leader in elevators and escalators, is looking for a Quality & Safety Specialist in Prague. You will join the team that ensures elevators and escalators meet the highest standards of quality and safety, improving them through data analysis, inspections and testing, and supporting the Quality Manager in implementing the company's quality strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify causes of non-conformities and propose corrective actions based on data analysis
• Carry out quality control checks and safety audits, including testing and measurements
• Take an active part in the safety committee and other safety forums
• Coordinate the local KONE feedback process and communicate with involved teams
• Maintain and update quality records according to established procedures
• Support internal and external audits
• Share knowledge and train colleagues on quality and safety
• Work closely with operational teams and external subcontractors

Required profile

• University degree in quality, logistics or production management (or equivalent experience)
• Fluent English
• Good knowledge of safety regulations
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and perseverance in problem solving
• Effective communication and teamwork

Required skills

• User-level knowledge of MS Office 365 and Power BI
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is an advantage
