Senior Business Controller

About the role

A senior, hands‑on finance professional will own and build the controlling and FP&A agenda across Töpfer and other group companies, reporting directly to the Group CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly management reporting, forecasting, budgeting and medium‑term business planning for assigned companies.
• Develop a P&L and KPI framework linking sales, production, procurement, inventory, working capital and cash flow.
• Lead performance reviews, challenge assumptions and drive margin improvement initiatives.
• Create integrated financial forecasts, scenarios and liquidity analyses.
• Build business cases for pricing, contracts, capex, restructuring and acquisitions.
• Set data quality standards, reporting governance and drive automation via ERP and BI tools.
• Support acquisition due diligence, post‑merger integration and rollout of common finance processes.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience in controlling, FP&A or finance business partnering with full planning and reporting ownership.
• Strong manufacturing or trading background, product costing and working‑capital management.
• Proven ability to improve controlling processes, reporting models or BI solutions.
• Commercial judgement and confidence to challenge senior stakeholders.
• Fluent business English; Czech required, German advantageous.
