Senior CAD Designer

About the role

Donaldson is looking for a technically skilled Senior CAD Designer to modify standard filtration units and create 3D models and production documentation. The role is based at the company’s plant in Kadan, Czech Republic, and involves close collaboration with production and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform customer‑specific modifications of standard filtration unit products.
• Develop 3D models using CAD software (NX, SolidWorks, Unigraphics, SolidEdge).
• Prepare manufacturing and drawing documentation.
• Participate in technical solution development and support production and other departments.
• After training, communicate technical solutions with sales representatives in English.

Required profile

• Technical university degree in engineering or at least secondary technical education with minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and create technical documentation.
• Reliable commuting to or relocation to Kadan.
• Intermediate English proficiency is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in at least one 3D CAD program (Unigraphics, SolidWorks, SolidEdge, NX).
