Senior FRA Specialist, Inventory

About the role

Novartis is looking for a Senior FRA Specialist Inventory in Prague, Czech Republic, to lead its inventory accounting and reporting operations. You will partner with Finance, Supply Chain and business stakeholders to deliver accurate financial information, strong controls and operational excellence. The role is hybrid and relocation support is not offered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities for inventory and cost of goods sold accounting
• Perform inventory account reconciliations and ensure accurate balance sheet and income statement reporting
• Manage inventory provisioning, including slow-moving and non-moving stock assessments
• Oversee product revaluation and devaluation analysis affecting inventory reserves
• Deliver accurate and timely Novartis Product Margin Reporting, including data analysis and validation
• Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain and business partners to resolve inventory accounting matters
• Strengthen financial controls, review reconciliations and support compliance, audit and reporting requirements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related business discipline
• Proven experience in financial accounting, reporting or record-to-report processes in a global organization
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, financial controls and month-end closing
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and turn findings into actionable insights
• Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders internationally, with attention to detail and accuracy

• Base salary range of 808,381 to 1,501,279 CZK, with a possible performance-based bonus
