Senior IT Project Manager - EWM in Pharma

About the role

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead the implementation and optimisation of SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) solutions within our pharmaceutical operations. The role combines deep technical knowledge of EWM with strong project leadership to deliver compliant, high‑perform warehouse systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and close EWM implementation projects, ensuring scope, budget and timeline are met.
• Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders, external partners and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, identify risks and define mitigation strategies specific to pharma environments.
• Oversee configuration, testing and deployment of SAP EWM, guaranteeing adherence to GxP and GDP regulations.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications in partnership with IT architects and warehouse operations.
• Manage project budgets, procurement processes and vendor relationships to optimise cost‑effectiveness.
• Drive change‑management activities to ensure smooth user adoption of new systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of IT project management experience, with at least 5 years leading EWM or warehouse management system implementations.
• Proven track record delivering multi‑phase projects with budgets exceeding €1 million.
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical operations and regulatory frameworks (GxP, GDP).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
